A maple light-up event, Akiu Night Museum, was held at Tenshukaku Nature Park Koyadateato Garden in Akiu Onsenkyo, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
Mr. Ichitaro Hayasaka, who became a wounded soldier, bought this local mountain and opened the Tenshukaku Nature Park in 1972.
Tenshukaku Natural Park is the place where the first generation Akiu Settsukami Moriyoshi built the Yumoto koyadate in the Akiu district, where old castles and mansion ruins that are said to have been built during the Muromachi and Sengoku periods have been confirmed.
The garden, which is equipped with an auto-camping site, hot springs, footbath, etc., is a 240,000-square-meter pond and spring stroll garden made up of Akiu stones produced in the Akiu area and a pond.
Here, the beautiful scenery of the four seasons that skillfully utilizes the natural scenery is a highlight.
In autumn, the trees in the Koyadateato garden turn red and yellow, and the autumn leaves are at their best.
Especially from late October to mid-November, when the autumn leaves are in full bloom, the Tenshukaku Natural Park Momiji Light Up Event “Akiu Night Museum” will be held, where the garden will be magically colored with lights.
The trees illuminated by the light become even more colorful in the dark, and you can enjoy the impressive beauty that is different from the appearance of the trees in the bright daytime every day during the event.
