For regular international flights, all routes are suspended, and for domestic routes, there are measures to suspend operations and reduce the size of aircraft, especially on routes with low boarding rates.
The number of takeoffs and landings of airplanes has increased little by little since July 2020, but the letters of cancellation are still noticeable when looking at the departure and arrival timetables.
As the area around Sendai Airport has not yet been restored from the Great East Japan Earthquake, there are only two parks where you can see passenger planes arriving and departing and the observation deck of the Sendai Airport passenger terminal.
If this construction is completed, there may be more places where passenger planes can be seen, but I feel that it will be a long way to go.
