4K HDR Japanese Great Fireworks Festival 2023 | Shinmei no Hanabi

This is a video of the Shinmei fireworks festival held in Ichikawamisato-cho, Nishiyashiro-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture Japan on August 7, 2023 (Hanabi Day).
The Koshu Ichikawa fireworks, which are said to be the predecessor of the Shinmei Fireworks Festival, are said to have their origins in the creation of Noroshi, a large communication network built by the Takeda clan during the Sengoku period.
It is said that the festival began when Jinzaemon, a master papermaker who brought the technique of making washi paper to Ichikawa, was enshrined at Shinmei Shrine, and a grand fireworks display was held on the anniversary of his death.
After that, from the middle to the late Edo period, “Ichikawa Fireworks” in Kai Province became even more popular.
Along with the “Mito Fireworks” in Hitachi Province and the “Yoshida Fireworks” in Mikawa Province, they were called one of the “Three Great Fireworks of Japan” during the Edo period and were very popular.
It is also a popular meeting place for lovers, and it is said that it is said that watching the Ichikawa fireworks together will bring happiness.
Although the history of this fireworks festival once came to an end, it was revived in 1989 and is now a huge fireworks festival with around 20,000 fireworks, including Nishakudama fireworks and wide music star mines (Pyromusical).
