All Nippon Airways has made ANA’S CHINA YEAR 2007, commemorating the 35 th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China and the 20 th anniversary of the service of the Chinese line.In commemoration of these, All Nippon Airways has made airliners drawn in panda on the aircraft into service on July 25, 2007.It has been popular as a panda jet that painted panda patterns throughout the airframe, but the operation on December 9, 2014 has been replaced with regular paint at the end.
