4K HDR Onagawa Minato Matsuri – Japan Fireworks Festival 2023

The Onagawa Minato Festival Maritime Fireworks Festival was held on July 30, 2023 at the Onagawa Port area and Onagawa Town Coast Square in Onagawa Town, Oshika District, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
The town of Onagawa in Miyagi Prefecture was severely damaged by the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake on March 11, 2011, and the land surrounding Onagawa Port was raised.
The new Onagawa station has moved from its original location to a higher ground on the inland side.
Seapalpia Onagawa, a tenant-type shopping street lined with commercial facilities from there towards Onagawa Port, was completed in 2015.
Additionally, in 2020, Onagawa Town Beach Square, which will become a new bustling hub for the town, was completed.
In addition, the Onagawa Minato Festival, which was suspended after the earthquake, will be revived in 2022 due to the spread of coronavirus infection that has continued since 2020.
This year, just like last year, the event was held at Onagawa Town Coast Square and the Onagawa Port area, with 4,000 fireworks, including water star mines and musical fireworks, being launched.

A cinema camera BMPCC6K capable of RAW recording and a field recorder ZOOM F3 capable of high-resolution recording are used to create high-quality, high-definition HDR videos.
