This is the super-large, epic Tenchijin fireworks, produced by Nomura Fireworks Co., Ltd., from the Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display held in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture Japan on August 2, 2009.
These fireworks were launched to commemorate the broadcast of the NHK Taiga drama “Tenchijin,” which depicts the life of the Sengoku period warlord Naoe Kanetsugu, who valued “love” and adhered to “righteousness.”
