This is a video of the “Number One Lotus Root Producer in Japan” fireworks display for Tsuchiura City and Kasumigaura City, which was held on the banks of Sakuragawa River in Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture Japan on October 2, 2010, as part of the 79th Tsuchiura All Japan Fireworks Competition.
The JA of Tsuchiura City, Ibaraki Prefecture, boasts the largest lotus root production in Japan, created this program to promote lotus roots grown in Tsuchiura, with the background music “Good evening, Lotus root with a smile on your face.”
