I used to live in Gamo, Miyagino Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan, but I was affected by the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011.
Two days after the Great East Japan Earthquake occurred in the Gamo district of Miyagino Ward, Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, rubble has risen on the road on the embankment used for evacuation, and submerged vehicles are also abandoned.
A tsunami of over seven meters surged into the Gamo area and around Sendai Port, completely submerging residential and industrial areas.
My house was in this area, but I couldn’t get close because it was flooded.
