The Zao Onsen Ski Resort in Yamagata, Yamagata Prefecture, is famous for Zao’s Juhyo(Frost-covered trees) and skiing, but you can see the beautiful autumn leaves in autumn.
The autumn leaves that begin to gradually color from the summit of Yamagata Zao Jizozan draw beautiful gradations in yellow, orange, and red. From the Zao Ropeway, you can also look down on the beautiful scenery spreading below.
