ANA Wings Bombardier DHC-8-Q400 Land & Swirl of smoke at Sendai Airport
This is the ANA Wings Bombardier DHC-8-Q400 (Dash 8) that lands on the runway of Japan Sendai Airport while creating a whirlpool of white smoke.
You’ll often see tire smoke coming out when the plane touches down.
And in the case of the Dash 8 equipped with a turboprop engine, smoke may flow toward the propeller and create a spiral smoke.
I have witnessed this aircraft many times, but it may be the first time I have seen the swirling white smoke so clearly visible.
