This is an Air New Zealand Boeing 767-300ER international charter flight taking off from Sendai Airport in Natori City, Miyagi Prefecture Japan.
The airline has almost no history of flights to and from Sendai Airport, including scheduled flights, but this flight departed for Auckland International Airport, New Zealand, in mid-January 2011.
International charter flights are often operated at Sendai Airport, mainly around the New Year holidays, but this was the first time I had seen an Air New Zealand passenger plane there.
