This is a video of the super-sized, epic starmine “Tenchijin Hanabi” from the Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display, held in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture Japan on August 3, 2008.
The reason I started shooting fireworks videos was because I wanted to preserve these fireworks in HD, but at the time, the images were shot with a cell phone, so the image quality was very poor.
I was lucky enough to get a seat in the front row of the left bank box seats, and I was completely moved by the beautiful fireworks that exploded into the sky, filling the entire view in front of me.
