This is a video of the lighting ceremony for the SENDAI Pageant of Starlight, an illumination event held in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture Japan in December 2009.
The beautiful orange light of the traditional incandescent bulbs illuminates the rows of zelkova trees along Jozenji Street in Sendai.
The Sendai Pageant of Starlights, which have a nostalgic and gentle light, changed to energy-saving LED lights the following year, but in a custom-made color called Sendai Color, which inherited the traditional light bulb color.
